Hacking environment will be accessible only at Poligon creative centre through Wi-Fi or wired connection. Before start registration at http://ctf.viris.si is required, where additional information about protocol, tasks and submission of solutions will be available.

When and Where CTF is going to happen?
BSidesLjublana 0x7E1 CTF
is going to happen on 10th March 2017 at Poligon creative centre. The competition is scheduled from 10am – 4pm.

Where to register and how to participate?
In order to play BSidesLjublana 0x7E1 CTF you need to register at https://ctf.viris.si. This is your starting point where additional information will be available and also your scoring board where you submit your solutions.

Where will be the task accessible?
Most of the tasks will be accessible only at Poligon creative centre though Wi-Fi or wired connection. Some tasks will be posted on https://ctf.viris.si.

What type of task?
Read the intro. In general there will be two types of tasks: Jeopardy and Attacking style. Jeopardy style task are straightforward. You have a question or problem, you solve it and submit your solution.  In the attacking part of the competition your main problem is to take over an organization’s domain controller. You have a vulnerable environment where you try to hack your way to the domain controller. Along the way there will be flags. Every gathered flag is worth some amount and brings you closer to your main goal.

How can I recognize a flag and how I submit it?
A flag is hidden behind a vulnerability in the virtual environment in the form of CTF#N:Keyword. You will know when you see it. After gathering the flag, submit “Keyword” to corresponding task labeled CTF#N at https://ctf.viris.si.

Teams vs. Single player?
It is up to you how you want to play. If you think you are good enough, try it alone. If you like to play in a team register a team.

What do I need?
Computer, laptop, Wi-Fi card, USB dongle and other hacking gadgets.
